Saint Nick will be all around San Francisco this year, with options of having breakfast and grabbing photos to make lasting memories. San Francisco is a great destination to visit Santa, spend the holidays, and have a great time overall.

These are the best places around San Francisco to meet Santa and ask for something special for Christmas.

Santa in San Francisco

Stonestown Galleria

  • Address: 3251 20th Ave
  •  Dates: 11/18 through 12/24

Santa will be at the Stonestown Galleria starting on November 18. You can snag a photo with Santa, and if you book ahead, you’ll save 30% on your photo package. Santa will be around during regular business hours for the Stonestown Galleria, so take advantage of it.

Ritz Carlton

  • Address: 600 Stockton St
  •  Date: 11/29 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

The Ritz Carlton will hold their annual tree lighting ceremony on November 29, including a Santa visit. After Santa and his helpers light the tree, they will be around for photos and jolly cheer. The Ritz will also have cider, hot cocoa, and cookies.

Westin St. Francis

  •  Date: December 10 from 9 am to 12 pm 

Pop over to Westin St. Francis and enjoy breakfast with Santa. Breakfast will overlook the San Francisco skyline, where you can take photos and have a delicious breakfast buffet with Santa. Macy’s Union Square

Union Square is a prime destination for Santa and a great spot to stop by. Santa will be in Macy’s on the 7th floor in Santaland for visits from everyone. Photo opportunities are available, and you’ll love spending time in Union Square during the holidays.

Selfie Market

  • Address: Westfield San Francisco Centre Level 3

Black Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Selfie Market at the Westfield Mall off Market Street. Tickets must be purchased to attend this event. While there, you can enjoy music-themed photos, meet and greets with Santa, and entrance to the entire market. Their gift shop will also be open, and you can purchase tickets here. 

San Francisco Zoo

  •  Date: 11/26 through 12/29

Santa will be at the San Francisco Zoo for a fun visit throughout the holiday. Starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving, you can visit him every weekend at their festival of the year called Joy at SF Zoo. The zoo also has Candy Cane Lane, Poinsetta Plaza, and an area to learn about reindeer.

Japantown Center Malls

For two days in December, Santa will be in Japantown Center Malls for visits from all. There won’t be any photographer on hand, so make sure to have your phones ready to snap a few good photos.
